quilting.
You do not have to sandwich your layers. They do have to be well pressed and sewn. The batting and backing needs to be at least eight inches larger than the quilt top. To estimate your final cost, multiply the approximate length times the approximate width of your quilt. If you want custom quilting, multiple that number by .035. If you want overall (edge to edge), multiple that number by .02. This will give you an approximate basic cost. Additional charges* will include a materials fee usually of $5 - $10, and may also include charges for preparing a quilt if more than touch up pressing needs to be done. Prices
